Situated to the left of State Highway 2 (SH2) as you leave town, heading north to Woodville, lies Eketahuna's 18 hole golf course. Noted as one of the best summer courses in New Zealand with picturesque views of the Tararua's and surrounding area.
Men's White Tees: 5283 metres, 71 par, NZSCR 67.6 (Slope 107). Women's Yellow Tees: 5058 metres, 73 par, NZSCR 71.1 (Slope 116). Women's White Tees: 5283 metres, 71 par, NZSCR 72.6 (Slope 120).

During the summer, twilight golf is held every Wednesday evening during daylight saving. The Club House lounge and bar can be opened on request for groups on other days besides the usual Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday club openings. Changing rooms, showers and toilets are available at all times. For a truly unique round of golf surrounded by majestic hills and year round lush greens, Eketahuna is a must.
